Workshop: The Good, The Byrd, and The Ugly

Join us at Holy Sepulchre, the National Musicians’ Church, for a day workshop led by members of the English Cornett & Sackbut Ensemble and Peter Asprey, Director of Music at Holy Sepulchre. A day to workshop the music of some of England’s finest high Renaissance composers, with an informal recital at the end of the day. In particular, the music of Byrd and Weelkes in their anniversary years will be covered, including Byrd’s masterpiece ’Ne Irascaris Domine.’
