About the event
The Rodolfus Choir is a leading UK youth choir for young people aged 16-23, many of whom have attended a Rodolfus Choral course. Singers are invited to sign up to a number of exciting events across the year. Our aim is to offer professional, high-quality choral singing opportunities and to share the wonderful choral repertoire with diverse audiences across the UK and beyond. The choir regularly sings concerts and evensongs, most recently at St Martin-in-the-Field as part of the Polish Choral Music Festival, St Stephen’s Gloucester Road as part of the Brandenburg Concert Series and at St Gabriel’s Pimlico where they recorded evensong for BBC Radio 3.
Stile Antico is firmly established as one of the world’s most accomplished and innovative vocal ensembles. Working without a conductor, its twelve members have thrilled audiences on four continents with their fresh, vibrant and moving performances of Renaissance polyphony.
Alongside its concert and recording work, Stile Antico is passionate about sharing its repertoire and working style with the widest possible audience, and its masterclasses and workshops are much in demand. The support of the charitable
Stile Antico Foundation has enabled Stile Antico to expand its work in schools, to lead Youth Consort courses for students, and to offer bursaries to talented young professional singers and ensembles.
This concert is the culmination of a weekend of workshops given by members of Stile Antico to our young singers.
