About the event
The Abilene Christian University Chamber Singers offers a service of Choral Evensong, featuring the canticles from William Byrd's Great Service. Preces and Responses by Byrd; psalm settings by Tallis and Farrant.
The liturgy comes from the 1559 Book of Common Prayer. The neo-Gothic Episcopal Church of the Heavenly Rest in Abilene, TX provides a beautiful environment for worship and contemplation.
